Documtation of East Fall Bridge through Nature
This photo collage of the East Falls Bridge show the perspective of the bridge through the environment. My idea in documenting the bridge in this manner is to show the beauty of the surrounding and the way the bridge is placed in to the environment with out taking away from the effect.
Perspective Of East Falls Bridge
These pictures show the surrounds of the bridge co-insiding with the bridge itself. the pictures show the way the nature has grown around the bridge and how the image of the nature appears from the interior and exterior of the bridge.
Surrounding Analysis
To revisit the past collage of the bridge and its nature, this superimposed drawing over top of the surroundings shows the grace  of how the bridge fits in to the nature of the area.
Interior Construction Analysis
Contrasting to the above drawing of the bridge this one show the interior and structure of the bridge opposed to the surrounding and nature.
Photo Enhancing Edits
EDIT 1: To further enhance the Bridge perspective and in effort to set the bridge itself foward from the ground and sky, i have edited the brightness and contrast of the bridge and its surroundings.
EDIT 2: This edit shows the different atmosphers of the bridge through different lighting and times of day. To do so I have attempted to imitate the sun set by changing colors in the sky.
EDIT 3: This original photo is framed by the heavy cluster of dark trees, so to isolate the bridge and direct all attention towards it i had discolored everything excluding the focal point of the image.
EDIT 4:Here the sky has been brighten along with the bridge to make it appear like a more well lit environment. I have also edited the color of the bridge to gain a secondary prespective of the bridge. I also removed rust to illistrate a younger, newer bridge.
OverLay of Micro-Details
Shown above is a close up shot of the bridges smaller details. This picture gives information that is not provided by larger scale photos. The over topping drawings work to show said details and not be adulerated by the less important infomartion of the original bridge.
Investigation of a Candlestick: Sketched
Through the study of this object I have recreated a candlestick in a way to best show its details and interior design. the collection of images are the first step to learning this object and its working componets to create a whole.
Investigation of a Candlestick: Drafted
As part two of this object study the object as been drafted to show more detail. The dimentions also help to break down the object into easier portions to understand. As a design desicion I have inverted the colors to show the line qualities better and details.
Investigation of a Candlestick: Digitally Drafted
Finally to complete the analysis of this object it was drafted digitally, this is a much clearner way to show the same infomation as before. It also well represents the line weights and depth of the object. I have also used the digital aspect as an opportunity to better the circles and reconstruct the axonometric image with ellipises.
Vector Exploration
In exploation of vector graphics, I learn to control depth through line weight and layers. Above is a self portrait made in Adobe illustrator working with shades and simplicity of color through black and white imagery with an accent background.
Photo Retouch
Original photos: the above images are taken of a model of the Berkowitz-Ogdis House  by Steven Holl previously located in Marthas Vineyard. However because of the lesser quilalty of the craft, digital edits were beneficial.
After the proper edits via Adobe photoshop the images now apear level and peices are at 90 degrees. Along with the warping that has been removed.
Infographic
In order to portray an idea purely through images I have created a presentation of photos to follow a story. Also using shading and gradiants the images apear more three dimentional and real.
Site Analysis and Documentation
After visiting the Barnes Fondation and analysis the site a collage was created usinf the concept of interaction with nature. Above I have used the collage with a second media overlaied in order to bring out the details of nautre.
Above are some sketches of the site in relation to the concept of nautre.
These are a few photographs from the site of nature in its relation to the building. The photos show the incorporation between the structure and nature.
Novel Re-cover
In efforts to learn a perexisting topic and build off it and design to its ideas, a new book cover was created for the classic novel, Lord of the Flies by William Golding.
Above are some context photos of the cover being use and placed into a realistic scenario.
Lecture Poster Design
To learn from a prevous set of design rules and styles, this poster was based off of The Rhode Island School of Design's pervious lecture posters. Also the list of therortical guest were also researched and reansoable picks for the said school to invite to lecture.
Design Visual Aid
Digtally render this perspective of a visitor center designed for the Berkowitz-Odgis House gives a much more relalisic idea of how it would look. These technics learned from previous projects are very helpful in convaing an idea and visualizing a project.
Scaned and post proceesed this image acts as a final concept drawing in the design process of creating said visitor center. This image represents the concept of my visitor center, the manipulation of light through varying spaces.
